This cookware does work on induction cooktops. Before I bought it I went to the manufacturer's website a watched a video on this line and it indicated that even though it was cast aluminum there is a diffuser plate in the bottom that allows it to be used on induction cooktops as well as others. So I went ahead and bought it and they work beautifully on my induction stovetop. They have a nice weight on them, which I love, and the price is decent considering that for non-stick induction cookware they tend to be abhorently expensive.

Don't have this cookware, but I'd be wary if you're looking to cook with it on an induction unit. In order to work on induction, the metal must be magnetic--you can test them in the store by putting a magnet on the pot. If it sticks, it'll work--if not, it won't. Aluminum is typically not a metal that will work on induction. Unless they've done something *really* special to the "cast aluminum" pots, they may not work.
