 "DANGEROUS cookware!" 2009-01-13
By zenthia (Colorado)
I got this when I was first starting out a few years ago. At first I loved it, but within two weeks my mind quickly changed when my toddler and I almost ingested many shards of broken glass in our food!! The lids are not rimmed with metal of any kind, and at some point became over heated, cracked and broke when I placed the lid on our food, causing the glass to fall into our dinner. I was furious! I attempted to contact the companies customer service multiple times, finally having found a number for them, called to discover that no one there spoke english, and my emails went unanswered. I tossed the lids, and continued using the pans as I could not afford another set. quickly the flimsy thin Teflon layer wore off and the pans rusted inside and out. I was VERY disappointed in them.

 "Mother's Day Gift" 2008-06-13
By Sue Leonard (New York, NY)
I gave this set of deep red pots and pans to my 92-year old mother for Mother's Day and she just loves them -- loves the color, loves how light they are to handle, and loves how they cook. Now, if all the covers fit the frying pans, they would be perfect.

"Nice set for the money but" 2008-06-04
By Terry Mccormick (USA)
This set has a good color and cooks well but the handles are small and cheaply made. Over all we are happy with our purchase.

"Good set for less money!!" 2008-04-06
By Stefani (St. Louis, MO)
I got a 50.00 amazon.com gift card. I needed pots and pans badly, so I bought this set and only paid 2 cents out of my own pocket. I actually REALLY enjoy them. If you want a less than expensive set of pots and pans, these are perfect!! ONLY downfall is not all the pans have lids. BUT, overall, I greatly enjoy them, AND the color is a plus.

"Good value for the money" 2007-09-20
By Eclectic bagpiper (USA)
We've had a set like this (but in blue) for about four years, purchased for $60 in Target. While it is a good value for money and we used this set exclusively for three years, it has some weaknesses:

(a) Too light and easily deformed. The large pot fell to the floor and the lid would not fit anymore.

(b) The lids do not fit the frying pans, which is really odd

However, the handles and the Teflon coating are still holding after four years and for the value-conscious or young, this is a good first set to buy. Later on you can move on to Calaphon hard-anodized and then to Le Creuset if you get into gourmet cooking.
