This cup was purchased to use on my morning walk to the coffee shop. I was tired of drinking of a paper cup and instantly throwing it away, and I wanted a simple yet effective cup for a double espresso. This cup is perfect for it. I never use the saucer.

Cup does have rougher edges - not smoothed over - if you want that get the WMF or the Stainless Lux brand for 3x the price - but this is a perfect, inexpensive espresso cup that is unbreakable. I use it in an office environment. Excellent for 1 shot of espresso. Enjoy!

The plate is thin with some sharp edges.
The handle of the cup has also sharp edges.
A guess that is what you get for the price.
I would not buy another one.
