These are lovely. I use them to save and later warm up leftovers. I cook Indian food and leftovers tastes much better when warmed up in all clad...no more microwaving and killing of flavors. Every since I started using these and other all clad pots for cooking and reheating my dishwasher is also not as full. These are so easy to clean by hand or in the dishwasher. These hold about 2 cups food and still some room left. I wish that they came with lids.

I absolutely adore these little pots. They are a great size for making sauces, glazes, dips, etc. And on a cold snowy morning like today, they are just perfect for one serving of slow-cooked oatmeal:)
I was worried when I purchased these that I wouldn't get enough use out of them. Many of the reviews discussed soup, and when I make soups I usually make a big batch and freeze it, so I wouldn't need something this small. However, I've been surprised by the amount of use these get, and they are ideal when you don't want to dirty a large pot.

I read all the prior reviews and I don't need to repeat any of the many virtues the others raved about. It's all true. (I'm really surprised any restaurant below a five star would use them for food service. Must have a metal detector at the exit. See Pete's review dated October 16, 2007.)
The actual "product dimensions" are: 4 1/2" inside diameter; 7 1/4" handle end to handle end; 2 1/4" deep. They hold 16 oz. with 2 oz. (or 1/2" height) remaining to the rim. And, FWIW, each one weighs 1 lb., 2 3/4 oz.
Unlike the 7" oval bakers which carry the shiny stainless across the bottom, these have spun bottoms just like the pans. However, for anyone interested, they do not have the magnetic layer necessary for induction.
Very, very nice. I'm glad I ignored the price and bought them.

Simply put, All-Clad makes great products. My wife likes french onion soup and there are lots ramekins I could use to make it in, but these are simply the best I have found. They work very well and look great at serving time too.
I addition being great soup bowls they work very well for melting butter, making baked apples and serving ice cream sundaes. Oh, I've made personal lasagna in them too. I'm sure you'll find lots of great uses for them too.

I waited a little to buy it because, let's be honest, it not cheap and we have to weight priorities, right?
Well, I did buy and I love it and I honestly forgot about the price because it is worth it. The quality stainless steel layers allows you to reheat soups or stew or anything you want to, in no time and to serve them really hot.
And they will keep you food hot longer than regular bowls.
I have used in the stove and in the oven. Excellent, both ways.
And on top of everything, wash it and it looks like new.
Not enough? They are really really, really cute.
Overall? Five stars!
