Revereware used to be really good, now it's made in China and the quality is terrible. This pan was so out of round that my lid would not fit on it. And the aluminum was so thin and cheap. Just a lousy pan all the way around. I promptly sent it back. I got great pan at TJ Max for $25. Amazon shouldn't even sell crappy merchandise like this.

previously owned a 10 inch skillet for years, great quality and durability, needed a bigger pan. very happy with this skillet.

I ordered this skillet even with the mixed reviews because I loved the previous one I have had for more than 10 years. This one is definitely not going to last that long. After one dinner use, the handle is already loose. It feels very flimsy compared to my old one. I will use it until it falls apart but I won't be replacing it with another one. This was such a disappointment. I just hope the teflon coating is not going to come apart as quickly as the handle. The teflon coating was the problem with my old one & I had to replace it. I am not getting any more w/teflon coatings & am sticking with the ss versions.

For the price I think it is a nice pan. Stuff cleans off of it really well and it is light weight but not cheap feeling. The directions say not to put it in the dishwasher, but we do anyway and it seems fine.

The other inhabitants of my household sometimes need to get a clue about how to treat teflon. As a result, I don't like to spend lots of money on something I know will get ruined. I feel this pan was a good compromise on price and quality. It's held up relatively well. I've had it for a few years now. On the plus side, it cooks things very well. The pan is thick enough that it distributes heat evenly, so I don't get burned spots or warping. On the minus side, as with any teflon pan, the coating resents abuse. The pan survived its trip through the dishwasher relatively intact, although the external aluminum surface was dulled. The coating eventually developed scratches after someone decided to start piling silverware into it during kitchen cleanups. The pan survived this treatment longer than most would have, but eventually it succumbed.
