I ordered the set of 5 UFO reusable food covers with high hopes they would solve our problem of many glass containers with missing or broken lids. I am disappointed they do not work as well as I had hoped. They do cover a large variety of container sizes and are great for covering food in the microwave. It is sometimes hard to get the suction to start with, and it seems every time I open my fridge the suction is gone and the lid is just sitting on top of the bowl. I am amazed at the strong suction when they do work, but any small touch to any side of the lid overhanging the bowl and the suction is gone. That makes it very hard to pack my fridge full if I can't have any of the lids touching anything else. Very disappointed I spent over $50 for what I will now mostly use as microwave lids.

I cook big meals on the weekend, and enjoy leftovers during the week. I wanted to stop using so much plastic wrap with the leftovers. These lids are perfect. Sometimes moisture causes the vacuum seal to release, especially as the food cools, but it's always at least as tight as plastic wrap. You can also just press down on the center again to reset the vacuum seal. I highly recommend them!

We are in the process of eliminating all of our old plastic Tupperware containers. With the concern of plastic containers leaking BPA into our foods, the UFO covers are an excellent alternative for food storage.
We use our existing glass and ceramic bowls to store food without worrying about unwanted chemicals. We highly recommend the UFO covers and Coverflex products.

These lids are really versatile! We have the full set and use them constantly. My favorite use is for the microwave. They are great for covering bowls, either to steam veggies or eliminate the splatter that occurs with pasta, soup and other warmups. They eliminate the "sponging out" of the microwave that's usually needed after heating those kind of dishes. The larger ones are great for keeping a salad fresh when you assemble it in advance. Push on the center and have a good vacuum seal. You can also use the UFOs to keep serving dishes warm on the table as the lid keeps in the heat of the dish. With our UFOs and Coverflex we rarely use plastic wrap or aluminum foil anymore.
