This functional 14-piece set offers a complete array of cookware for the kitchen at a reasonable price. The set includes three covered saucepans in 2-, 3-, and 4-quart sizes; 5-1/2- and 8-quart covered stockpots; 8- and 10-inch shallow French skillets; and a 12-inch, 5-quart covered sauté pan. The exteriors of the pans in this set are durable hard-anodized aluminum while a hard-anodized aluminum core distributes heat evenly through the pans without hot spots. Three coats of DuPont nonstick coating line the pan’s interiors. Circulon’s patented Hi-Low grooves protect the nonstick coating from wear by exposing only a small portion of the nonstick surface to cooking. The result is longer lasting performance and easy cleaning. The 18/10 stainless steel lids are slightly domed to capture moisture when steaming or braising foods. Handles are made of stay-cool heat-resistant plastic and are oven-safe to 350 degrees F. This cookware is covered by a lifetime limited warranty. --Cristina Vaamonde

"Good for daily uncomplicated use" 2010-03-05
By J. Offenbach (N VA)
Although I do not have this exact configuration, I want to let interested consumers know that I find the smaller saucepans to be my go to pots these days. I have assorted cookware which includes Le Creuset, Calphalon, Cuisinart and even some really old Farberware, and I've found that for simple reheating instead of using the microwave, I select the Circulon saucepans. The pots are midweight and easy to handle with their larger rounded handles, I don't need to use a potholder, and they are easy to clean because of the nonstick finish. I do not use metal utensils and I immediately fill the pots with warm soapy water after using them, so that likely helps in the cleansing process. The lid knob is easy to hold and also doesn't require a potholder, it too is easy to clean, and mine are all perfect fits. I am not crazy about the space this set takes in storage because they are not good nesters and I do not hang these pots or pans. Heat is conducted very well for my purposes and I generally reduce the temperature anyway to avoid scorching. Because of the interior ridged construction, I do not use these for serious cooking, but for simple cooking or reheating, they are fine.

 "nice set" 2010-02-09
By Urszula Ciepichal (Brooklyn, NY, USA)
I got this set 2 years ago

its still great condition, no cons about it

just that the lids don't fit some of the pots- so you better check everything before you start using it - maybe its from shipping

this set is great- so many pieces for affordable price

I honestly think its better than Anolon or Calphalon or at least the same quality

they are heavy pots, but not too heavy

easy to wash

never had problem cleaning them

I would prefer glass lids, but this look really nice

the only thing is they take a lot of room, so you will need to store them someplace

there is a huge pot, big one, few medium, and very small one

pans are great fro frying and there is huge paella pan- very usefull too with a lid

they have silicon on the handles so no need for glove

great purchase for 200 dollars its a steal!

 "NOT WORTH THE $$!!" 2010-01-15
By Mai Y. Eyssa (orlando, fl)
They lasted about 2 years before everything started sticking to them and are horribly difficult to clean. I had begged my husband for these thinking these were going to be my longterm pots for the kitchen...now i have to start begging for a new set....not from cirulon again thats for sure. I have pots much cheaper than what i paid for these and they work so much better. Also i had some of the same problem as did other people..when i first got them the lids dont fit easily, but i ignored that thinking as long as it cooks well i dont care. What a waste of money!!

"A decade of great performance" 2009-12-22
By ddyer (Northern New York)
My wife and I bought/got these with wedding gift money and have been using them for a decade now. I can't speak to some of the customer service issues, because I haven't had any reason to need it. As for the residue, that can become unsightly, but I haven't noticed it affecting the taste of food or the non-stick finish. It WILL come off. I recommend soaking it for a while with hot water, then use a small, stiff circular brush (circulon makes them or you can just go down the cleaning aisle in your local mega-mart). Use small, circular motions so that the bristles stay in the grooves. The finish is not as thin and brittle as most pans I've owned over the years, it has on occasion even stood up to steel wool. The pans aren't commercial grade, but that's not what you're paying, even at MSRP.

 "disappointed" 2009-09-18
By T. Pinto-Eldar (usa)
I bought this set a while ago and opened it just lately. I was very disappointed to find two 8-inches skillets but the 10-inch missing!!! and another thing: none of the lids fit the 4-quart saucepan right (it remains slightly open).

I tried contacting the company to share the mismatch between description and the product I got but I always got to a dead end. I will not recommend this item to my friends. Too bad, because other than these complains, I like the product...
