1. The handles are permanently joined to the pan so they won't come loose.

For a Cheap Set of Frying pans this set can't be beat. I have been using them for a few weeks now and am quite happy. The metal that forms the pans is noticeably thinner than the more expensive stuff, however the teflon coating is done extremely well and the pans cook and clean easily.
