I bought these for making up individual pot pies to keep in the freezer for future use. They're a nice size for this, and really are non-stick. I bought two sets so I could make up 8 pies at a time. One good feature is that pies can be frozen in the pans and then popped out to have the pans ready to make the next batch before all the frozen ones are gone. When reheating (in the microwave) I place the individual pies in individual microwaveable serving bowls.

I originally purchased these for chicken pot pies. They are a little small for that purpose, and I ended up buying disposable aluminum pans instead. The ones I originally bought are good quality and they would work for individual pies or tarts.

The pans work well, but are the size of one of those tiny pies sold in the bread aisle. I was looking for something that would serve two, and this barely serves one. More trouble to return than keep, but will give them to my grandkids when they are old enough for mud pies.
